Locavore ($2.99)
Eating locally is one of the smartest choices you can make for the planet. Instead of eating blackberries from Chile or avocados from the opposite coast, you can use Locavore to find food grown in your own neighborhood. The app provides information about nearby farmer's markets, as well as resources about seasonal food.
A Real Tree ($0.99)
The title of this app pretty much says it all. Each time you purchase it (for less than a dollar), a tree will be planted in a deforested area of the world, like Brazil and Haiti. The app also allows you to buy tree gifts for your friends and installs cute graphics onto your iPhone.
