3 Reasons Your Company Should Consider Tablet PCs in 2011

There are a vast number of reasons your company could be looking into this technology, and as 2011 progresses, it's a sure bet more companies will be issuing tablet PCs as standard equipment.

Tablet PCs are now easily available to purchase, and if you haven't already instituted a companywide trend making use of them, there are three reasons why you might want to consider starting this revolution.

1. Efficiency�Creating a workspace that moves as fast as the employees in your company do is an absolute must, and whether this means addressing their needs to and from the office or when they're in the field with clients, tablet PCs can help. By providing screens much larger than those on smartphones as well as instant access to applications and potential uses that just weren't available with previous technologies, there are many time-saving operational changes you can make with these devices that could create serious productivity improvements.

2. Create a Unique Client Interface�Businesses that require sales reps or other types of employees to actually visit or work directly with clients can utilize tablet PCs in a whole different way by eliminating the pen and paper required in these transactions. From increasing survey participation to collecting signatures right on screen, it's possible to reduce supply costs, eliminate paperwork and rekeying of information, reduce errors, and lessen the time spent on each transaction.
3. Seamless Syncing�The reality for most companies is that tablet PCs can't yet do everything the desktop can for employees. With more market players entering the field every day, though, they can provide the seamless sync technology needed among the applications your company uses most every day, however, and that's nothing short of a serious time-saver on your end.
