The largest argument about net neutrality is that many believe Internet users should have the right to look at any type of content that they wish—a group that likely includes your customers or your potential customers.
It's also argued that Internet service providers (ISPs) should not be allowed to prioritize traffic to any specific sites, especially if they're doing so in order to increase their revenue. And, in fact, a few ISPs have said that they would gladly prioritize the traffic if they were paid to make sure that it went to certain places.
So what does this mean for businesses?
It may mean that unless you're willing to pony up the cash to become one of those favored by your ISP, you may find that your business isn't receiving the online attention that it should be receiving.
